Candidate Profile
|
- You would be a Medical Public Health Director for INGO
- Director- HIV Prevention, Care, Treatment and Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision based in Nairobi Kenya
- The Project Director will provide strategic direction and project leadership to INGO HIV initiatives, overseeing a range of activities from the development of project proposals, tools, training curricula, technical documents, best practice models and quality assurance systems, to representing INGO at international meetings
- The Directors will be responsible for supporting public, private and NGO counterparts to increase access and improve the quality of services (provider initiated testing and counseling, basic care and support, treatment, TB/HIV services, prevention of mother to child transmission, prevention with positives, and voluntary medical male circumcision) in the project’s area of implementation within GOK and PEPFAR guidelines.
- The Director in Kenya will offer leadership in support of the Government of Kenya and other partners implementing HIV prevention, care and treatment services in Nairobi and Central Provinces.
- Be of African origin, with extensive experience in the region; or If from other countries, should have several years of HIV related experience in Africa
